Melita Pilch
Body Balance would like to welcome our newest therapist, Melita Pilch to the team.

Melita has over twenty years’ experience as a massage therapist specializing in Remedial, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Hot stone and Lomi Lomi massage. Melita is also a Naturopath, Nutritionist and qualified Chef. She has a strong passion for cooking and eating healthy food, particularly Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines.
“My grandmother was an Italian Nonna and was what you would describe as an early herbalist and massage therapist. She was taught by her mother who was taught by her mother and so forth, in a little village by the Mediterranean Sea in Sicily. People would come from miles to be treated by her without ever visiting a doctor in their lives and most people lived until their 90’s in the village. That and a great Mediterranean diet based on fish, grains, olive oil, vegetables and fruit. You could say I got the gift and the interest and passion from my Nonna” says Melita.

Melita commenced her natural therapy life after a stressful twenty years in the corporate world as a marketing manager. “I loved what I did and built up a solid career, but decided to go back to school and study for six years as I felt I truly had a ‘calling’ for anything natural.” Melita explains.
After college, Melita went on to own and operate three successful Natural Therapy Clinics and Day Spas. She learnt a great deal about beauty and skincare from her Beauty Therapist and was able to treat clients internally and externally as well. “One of the businesses was in the Yarra Valley and I used the beautiful natural environment to run Health Retreats where I utilized my skills in nutrition, massage and cooking to create three day and five day live-in retreats. I plan to one day introduce a variety of health retreats to Body Balance clients, so that they can learn and experience truly healthy ideas and techniques for a more holistic lifestyle, for themselves and their families”.

As an introductory special, Melita is offering $15 off her massages and conducting a FREE Iris Analysis to anyone that books a One Hour Massage.

To anyone that books a one hour Naturopathy or Nutrition Consultation, Melita is offering $15 off your first consultation, which includes an extra 15 minute Iris Analysis, plus a FREE Back, Shoulder and Neck Massage.
